Celebrating 77 Years of Fragrance Excellence, Cycle Pure Agarbathi Unveils Festive Innovations in Bhubaneswar

Showcases Bamboo-less Solid Dhoop and Medini Judwaa Cup Sambrani; Reinforces Commitment to Odisha with Innovation, Sustainability and Spiritual Experiences

Bhubaneswar, August 07, 2026 :Celebrating 77 years of fragrance excellence, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, the world's largest manufacturer of agarbathi, today unveiled its new festive product portfolio at a press conference held at Taj Vivanta, Bhubaneswar. The new range was unveiled by Mr. Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, reaffirming the company's commitment to serving consumers in Odisha with innovative products rooted in India's rich spiritual traditions.

The company introduced its latest festive innovations, including Bamboo-less Solid Dhoop in Dasara, Yagna and Woods variants, and Medini Judwaa Cup Sambrani, featuring the soothing fragrances of Rose and Jasmine. Designed to elevate everyday prayers and festive celebrations, the new products blend authentic traditions with modern fragrance innovation.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, said"For 77 years, our journey has been guided by a simple philosophyto honour tradition while continuously innovating for changing consumer needs. Fragrance has always been at the heart of our identity, and our in-house fragrance expertise enables us to create products that resonate deeply with consumers across generations. Odisha is an important market for us, not only from a business perspective but also as a key part of our manufacturing and sourcing ecosystem. We have manufacturing units in Balasore and Soro, and we work closely with local vendor partners to procure raw agarbathi, puja-related products and coconut husk. These partnerships strengthen our supply chain while supporting local livelihoods and communities."

Highlighting the company's continued growth, Mr. Ranga added that Cycle Pure Agarbathi remains focused on strengthening its presence across Odisha through a wider product portfolio, deeper market penetration and enhanced availability across general trade, modern retail, e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

With an annual production of over 12 billion incense sticks, Cycle Pure Agarbathi carries the fragrance of faith to millions of homes, answering nearly 6 billion prayers every year. Supported by a network of 5,000+ distributors and over 5 lakh retail outlets across India, the company has built one of the country's strongest distribution networks and today exports to more than 75 countries worldwide.

One of Cycle Pure Agarbathi's greatest strengths continues to be its in-house fragrance research and development capability. Every fragrance is conceptualised, researched and blended by the company's family members and expert perfumers, enabling it to consistently create distinctive, high-quality fragrances that have earned the trust of consumers for over seven decades.

The company's latest festive portfolio includes:

•    Bamboo-less Solid Dhoop – Available in Dasara, Yagna and Woods variants, each fragrance offers a unique sensory experience inspired by Indian culture and nature. Dasara captures the grandeur of Mysuru Dasara through warm sandalwood and rich masala notes. Yagna recreates the sacred fragrance associated with ancient Vedic rituals, while Woods blends sandalwood, amber, Ailanthus Malabarica and natural oils to evoke the serenity of a forest.

•    Medini Judwaa Cup Sambrani – Inspired by Medini, the Earth Goddess, the twin-cup pack combines the soothing fragrances of Rose and Jasmine, creating a calming and spiritually uplifting ambience for prayers and daily rituals.

Further strengthening its position in India's spiritual products ecosystem, Cycle Pure Agarbathi recently announced the acquisition of Satvik, one of India's most trusted puja products brands. The strategic acquisition expands the company's devotional product portfolio and reinforces its vision of becoming a comprehensive provider of spiritual and devotional solutions for consumers across the country.

Beyond business, NR Group has remained committed to creating meaningful social impact for over 37 years through the NR Foundation, focusing on education, healthcare, rural development, environmental sustainability and community welfare.

Women empowerment continues to remain central to the company's purpose-driven journey. Through its flagship initiative in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, Cycle Pure Agarbathi has created sustainable livelihood opportunities for thousands of tribal women through agarbathi rolling, enabling financial independence while strengthening local communities.

Sustainability remains deeply embedded in the company's operations. Cycle Pure Agarbathi has been carbon neutral for the past 12 years and recently achieved plastic neutrality, reinforcing its commitment to responsible manufacturing, sustainable sourcing and environmentally conscious innovation.
