Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee to meet on March 2
Bhubaneswar, Feb 26: The Managing Committee of the Shree Jagannath Temple will convene a crucial meeting on March 2 at 4:30 PM at the temple office conference hall to deliberate on several important administrative and developmental issues. The meeting is expected to focus on matters vital to the temple’s governance and future planning.
One of the key highlights of the meeting will be discussions regarding the inventory and counting of ornaments stored in the sacred Ratna Bhandar. The committee will also read and confirm the minutes of the previous meeting. In addition, members will deliberate on approving the revised budget estimates for the financial year 2025–26 and the proposed budget estimates for 2026–27.
The agenda further includes proposals for establishing model Gurukuls for the children of temple service workers and the use of the new Ratnapal for Mahaprabhu. The implementation of an air-conditioning system at the Natamandap for the comfort of devotees will also be discussed.
The meeting aims to ensure smooth administration and long-term development of the temple.
