Singer Humane Sagar shows signs of improvement; fans hopeful as condition stabilises
Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Popular Odia playback singer Humane Sagar, who has been fighting for his life at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar, has shown slight but encouraging improvement. According to the latest health bulletin released on Monday, doctors have reported that the singer’s senses are beginning to respond to external stimuli, offering a renewed ray of hope.
Medical specialists treating Sagar revealed that he is now responding to simple verbal commands, moving his eyes, and nodding his head. These subtle yet positive signs have uplifted the spirits of his fans and well-wishers across the state.
Humane Sagar was admitted to AIIMS on November 14 and is currently suffering from acute chronic liver failure, multi-organ dysfunction syndrome, and bilateral pneumonia. Although he remains on ventilator support, his condition is under continuous monitoring by a dedicated team of experts led by ECMO specialist Dr. Srikant Behera.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep concern over the singer’s deteriorating health and assured his family of full support and necessary medical assistance. Opposition leader Naveen Patnaik has also prayed for his early recovery.
