Special OTET-2025 results announced: 66.50% candidates clear the exam

Special OTET-2025 results announced: 66.50% candidates clear the exam

Bhubaneswar, Nov 15: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha today declared the results of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)-2025, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of aspiring teachers across the state. The examination, held on September 27, witnessed the participation of 72,413 candidates, out of which 48,153 successfully qualified, marking an impressive overall pass percentage of 66.50%.

The performance statistics indicate a strong showing in Paper-II, where 35,165 candidates cleared the test, resulting in a remarkable 78.35% pass rate. Meanwhile, Paper-I recorded a pass percentage of 47.17%, with 12,988 candidates making the cut. These figures highlight the increasing competitiveness and preparedness of teacher aspirants in Odisha.

Candidates can now access their results on the official BSE website. The board has informed that digitized certificates for qualified candidates can be downloaded upon payment of the required fee from November 15, 2025 (4 PM) to January 15, 2026 (midnight). Those who did not qualify will be able to download their OMR answer sheets until November 22, 2025, starting from 4 PM today.

The release of the Special OTET results marks a significant step for candidates aspiring to build a career in the teaching sector across Odisha.
