Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: Former Odisha Minister and ex-MLA of Bhatli, Susanta Singh, has been shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after his health condition deteriorated, sources confirmed on Monday.

Singh was initially admitted to a hospital in Bargarh after experiencing health issues. However, as his condition worsened, his family and doctors decided to transfer him to a specialized medical facility in Bhubaneswar for advanced treatment. The exact nature of his illness has not been disclosed, but sources indicate that his condition requires critical care and close monitoring.

The news of Singh’s hospitalization has sparked concern among his supporters and political colleagues. Former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his well-wishes, stating, “I pray to Lord Jagannath for his speedy recovery.”

Meanwhile, several senior politicians and well-wishers have reached out to his family, hoping for his swift recovery. The hospital authorities are yet to provide an official update on Singh’s health status.
