Vedanta Aluminium Extends Timely Support to Communities Through Project Sahayog
Bhubaneswar : Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, continues to drive inclusive community development through Project Sahayog, a unique community welfare initiative that provides timely support to families from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities during critical life events. Through assistance for marriage and post-bereavement rituals, the initiative helps ease financial burdens and enables families to fulfil important social and cultural responsibilities with dignity.
Since its inception, Project Sahayog has supported 58 families across communities in Lanjigarh, including 37 households through post-bereavement assistance and 21 women through marriage support.
