Odisha's BJD sets course for future with manifesto committee appointment

Bhubaneswar, April 10: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) unveiled its 38-member manifesto committee on Wednesday, appointing senior leader and Berhampur MP Chandrasekhar Sahu as its chairman.
Joining him are legislators Debi Mishra, Pratap Deb, and Sudam Marndi, along with Padmanav Behera. Additionally, former Rajya Sabha member Magala Kissan and Kasturi Mohapatra, Editor of Utkal Prasanga and Odisha Review, serve as co-chairpersons.
According to an office order, the committee's mandate involves engaging with diverse sections of society, encompassing people of all ages and backgrounds, to formulate a transformative manifesto aimed at fostering a 'New Odisha-Empowered Odisha'.
Furthermore, the party has invited inputs from the public, encouraging citizens of the state to share their suggestions via email at bjdmanifesto2024@gmail.com.
