Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena's term extended by six months

Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: The Odisha Government has granted a six-month extension to Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, allowing him to continue leading the Odisha Administration until June 30, 2024.
The Department of General Administration and Public Grievance issued a notification confirming the extension. Originally scheduled to retire on December 31, Jena, a 1989-batch IAS officer, assumed the role of chief secretary in February 2023.
The extension, approved by the Department of Personal and Training, Ministry of Personnel, and the Government of India, ensures his continued service until the end of June 2024.
