BJD state executive meeting to be held tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD), ruling party in Odisha, is gearing up for its state executive body meeting scheduled to take place in the capital city on December 15.
Chaired by Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik, the meeting will see the participation of BJD MPs, MLAs, and office-bearers. This strategic assembly is planned ahead of the party's foundation day on December 26.
During a press conference held today, BJD's Vice-President, Debi Prasad Mishra, revealed that representatives from the party's student, youth, and women wings will actively engage in discussions during the state executive body meeting.
The primary focus of the meeting will be on planning and coordinating the festivities for BJD's upcoming 27th foundation day on December 26.
In commemoration of this milestone, the party has outlined a series of statewide events, encompassing marathons, blood donation camps, plantation drives, and various social initiatives. Notably, a cycle rally from Anand Bhawan in Cuttack to Sankha Bhawan in the capital city is among the planned activities.
Mishra highlighted the enthusiastic observance of BJD's 27th foundation day in all blocks, urban local bodies (ULBs), and 147 Assembly segments throughout Odisha.
