President Droupadi Murmu joins grand celebration of 'Boita Bandana Utsav' in Paradip

Paradip, Nov 27: President Droupadi Murmu graced the 'Boita Bandana Utsav' in the port town of Paradip, Odisha, on the auspicious occasion of Kartika Purnima on Monday.
Serving as the chief guest, she, along with Governor Raghubar Das and Union Minister Bishweswar Tudu, participated in the event organized by the Paradip Port Authority. As part of the ceremony, President Murmu inaugurated a special boat, symbolizing the rich maritime heritage of the state.
During her visit to Paradip, President Murmu also took a voyage on the 'Amogh,' a special vessel of the Indian Coast Guard. She conducted an inspection of port craft and later addressed members of the local fishing community. Stringent security measures were put in place to ensure the event's smooth execution.
President Murmu, who commenced her two-day Odisha visit on Sunday evening, stayed overnight at Raj Bhavan in the state capital, Bhubaneswar.
