Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha reaches out to three new districts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today introduced the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Yojana in three additional districts within the state.
The Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha initiative, designed to bolster Odisha's infrastructure and advance the state's progress, was launched on the eleventh day of this ambitious campaign in Kandhamal, Angul, and Gajapati districts.
For Kandhamal district, a budget of Rs 85.50 crore has been allocated under the program, specifically targeted at the constituencies of Baliguda, G. Udayagiri, and Phulabani. These funds will be directed towards 2099 projects spanning 171 panchayats across 12 blocks within these constituencies. Chief Minister Patnaik has also designated Rs 112.50 crore for five constituencies in Angul district, which include Talcher, Pallahara, Chhendipada, Athamallik, and Angul. A total of 2796 projects will be implemented across 225 gram panchayats within eight blocks. Furthermore, an allocation of Rs 74.50 crore has been set aside for the two constituencies in Gajapati district, namely Mohana and Parlakhemundi, where these funds will support 1662 projects spread across 149 gram panchayats within seven blocks.
The state government has initiated this program with the objective of enhancing rural development throughout the state. The program focuses on every Panchayat (local self-governing body) and every village, with a substantial budget allocation of Rs 50 lakh.
This initiative aims to promote Jagannath culture, develop places of worship, and reinforce the foundations of Odia culture while simultaneously digitizing cultural heritage. The emphasis is on elevating Odisha's traditional culture and integrating it with modern scientific knowledge to build a more empowered and modern Odisha.
