Bhubaneswar, Jun 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as the “longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister” of the country and the “great charioteer of the faith, pride and rise of crores of Indians.”

In a message posted on social media platform X, Majhi extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister on behalf of more than four crore people of Odisha. He lauded Modi’s leadership journey, saying his achievements represent far more than a political milestone and reflect years of dedicated service, sacrifice and commitment to nation-building.

The Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister Modi’s historic success was a recognition of his unwavering determination, visionary leadership and tireless efforts towards transforming India. He said the Prime Minister’s dedication had not only earned the trust and affection of millions of citizens but had also instilled a renewed sense of confidence and pride among Indians.

Majhi further praised Modi’s governance model, highlighting achievements in national security, welfare initiatives for the poor, infrastructure development and economic growth. He said the Prime Minister’s continuous efforts had elevated India’s stature on the global stage and strengthened the country’s position as a secure, self-reliant and respected nation.

Describing public service as a sacred mission under Modi’s leadership, the Chief Minister remarked that the Prime Minister’s commitment to serving the people had brought a new wave of prosperity and development across the country.

Concluding his message, Majhi offered prayers at the lotus feet of Shree Jagannath Temple, wishing the Prime Minister a long, healthy and disease-free life and continued success in serving the nation.
