CHSE Odisha declares Plus Two results; overall pass percentage at 85.85%
Bhubaneswar, May 20: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Wednesday declared the Plus Two or Class 12 examination results for 2026, with the overall pass percentage reaching 85.85 per cent across all streams.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond formally announced the results for Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams at the CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
According to official data released by CHSE, the Science stream recorded the highest success rate with 88.80 per cent students clearing the examination. Commerce followed closely with a pass percentage of 88.07 per cent, while Arts registered 84.50 per cent. The Vocational Education stream recorded a pass percentage of 77.62 per cent.
Girls outperformed boys in all four streams this year, continuing the trend of better academic performance by female students in the state board examinations.
Around 4.01 lakh students had registered for the annual examinations, out of which nearly 3.96 lakh appeared. The examinations were conducted between February 18 and March 27, 2026.
Students can access their results online through the official CHSE and Odisha results portals, while digital marksheets are also available on DigiLocker.
