Puri: The World famous Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri will be closed to devotees for three days from today. The decision was taken by the temple administration. According to the notification issued , the temple will be closed for three consecutive days for Saturday and Sunday tomorrow due to Ganesha worship today and the previous SOP. After the temple opens on Monday, the new SOP will see devotees visit the Lord. It has been decided to close the temple only on Sunday. The inside and outside of the temple will be sanitized on Sunday. According to the new SOP, devotees will visit the temple on Saturday and the temple will be open from 9 am to 8 pm. In addition, Mahaprasad is allowed to be served with the family at Anand Bazaar. Devotees can also bring worship items inside the temple. In addition, the rule of showing 2^nd dose Covid vaccine certificates and / or coronary negative reports has been enforced as before.
