Plus II student found critically injured near canal in Bhadrak
Bhubaneswar, April 21: A Plus II student was found with severe injuries near a canal at Nalanga village under Bhadrak Rural police limits on Tuesday morning, triggering concern among locals and authorities.
The minor boy, who sustained multiple injuries to his head and neck, was first spotted by villagers lying in a critical condition near the canal during the early hours. Acting swiftly, locals rescued him and informed his family members. An ambulance was arranged, and he was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhadrak, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
According to reports, the boy was unconscious when found, and the nature of his injuries suggested a serious incident. However, the exact circumstances leading to the injuries are yet to be ascertained.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and began a preliminary investigation. Officials are examining all possible angles, including accidental fall, assault, or other causes behind the incident.
