Plus II answer sheet evaluation to begin April 2 in two phases
Bhubaneswar, Mar 9: The evaluation of Plus II examination answer sheets conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will begin on April 2, 2026. The valuation process will be carried out in two phases and is expected to be completed by the end of April.
According to official reports, the first phase of evaluation will run from April 2 to April 13, while the second phase will take place from April 15 to April 26. Nearly 16,000 teachers will be engaged in the evaluation process across the state to ensure timely completion.
Authorities have planned both online and offline evaluation methods. Some subjects from the Science, Commerce and Arts streams will undergo e-evaluation, while several subjects from the Arts and Vocational streams will be assessed manually. Special technical staff will be deployed at e-evaluation centres to ensure smooth functioning of computers and prevent system disruptions.
In total, 151 valuation centres have been set up, including 76 offline centres and 75 online centres. Around 25 lakh answer sheets will be evaluated, including 15 lakh offline and 10 lakh online scripts.
Strict security guidelines will be followed during evaluation. Teachers must remain at centres until the day’s work is completed, while mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside valuation halls. Results are expected in May.
