Replying to a question from MLA Chakramani Kanhar, the Chief Minister said that as of February 12, 2026, a total of 94,485 positions remain unfilled. He stated that the government has set a target to fill 65,000 posts within the first two years of its tenure to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve public service delivery.
Majhi further revealed that 39,505 posts have already been filled between June 12, 2024 and February 12, 2026. In addition, fresh recruitment notifications have been issued for several departments to accelerate the hiring process.
