Bhubaneswar, Feb 7: The Higher Education Department of the Odisha government has reopened the online application portal for scholarships under the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana for the academic session 2025–26, offering eligible students another opportunity to apply.

According to official sources, students can submit applications against remaining vacancies from February 6 to February 26, 2026. Authorities have clarified that this is the final window and no further extension will be granted, urging aspirants to complete the process within the stipulated timeline.

The reopened portal includes multiple scholarship schemes such as e-Medhabruti (UG Merit), e-Medhabruti (PG Merit), e-Medhabruti (Technical & Professional Merit), the Byasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme, and the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana. These schemes aim to support meritorious and financially disadvantaged students pursuing higher education.

Officials stated that Non-SAMS students must upload required documents through DigiLocker to ensure faster verification and processing of applications.
