Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Governor extend New Year 2026 greetings to citizens
Bhubaneswar, Jan 1: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati have conveyed their heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of New Year 2026, expressing hope, optimism and prayers for peace and prosperity in the year ahead.
In his New Year message, Chief Minister Majhi extended warm wishes to all citizens of Odisha and reflected on the spirit of renewal associated with the beginning of a new year. He said, “Many happy returns of the day and congratulations to all of Odisha on the occasion of New Year 2026. May this new year bring new hope, new resolutions, and new self-confidence into everyone’s lives.” The Chief Minister also expressed optimism that 2026 would inspire collective efforts towards progress, development and inclusive growth across the state.
Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, in his message, prayed for the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath for the well-being of the people. Extending his warm greetings, he wished citizens peace, good health and happiness. He said he hoped the coming year would be marked by harmony, purpose and optimism, contributing to the greater good of society. The Governor further wished success and a fulfilling year ahead for every citizen, encouraging unity and positive action as Odisha steps into the New Year.
