Bhubaneswar, Nov 13: The Orissa High Court has cancelled the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Main Written Examination held on July 13, 2025, citing serious irregularities in the exam’s conduct by the engaged agency. The decision was taken to uphold fairness, transparency, and integrity in the recruitment process.

According to an official notification, the fresh Main Examination will now be conducted on December 7, 2025, and a total of 7,113 candidates, who had qualified in the Preliminary Examination held on May 4, 2025, will appear for the test. The exam will be held in three sittings — English (9:00 AM–11:00 AM), General Awareness and Test of Reasoning (12:00 PM–1:00 PM), and Mathematics (2:30 PM–4:30 PM).

Candidates have been advised to visit the Court’s official website — www.orissahighcourt.nic.in — under the Recruitment Corner for updates. The e-Admit Cards will be available for download from November 17 (10:00 AM) to December 5 (5:00 PM). Any discrepancies in admit cards should be reported to the Recruitment Cell at 9437498780 before December 5, 2025, the notification added.
