Odisha Govt launches Subhadra grievance module to ensure transparency in scheme implementation

Bhubaneswar, Sept 15: The Odisha government has introduced the Subhadra Grievance Module, a digital platform designed to address complaints and concerns of beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana. The initiative aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely redressal of grievances, particularly for those women who were earlier left out of the scheme.
Launching the module, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida assured that “no eligible beneficiary will be deprived of Subhadra’s assistance.” She emphasized that the system will strengthen monitoring and allow beneficiaries to file complaints, seek reinclusion, and track the status of their applications online.
Under the new mechanism, grievances will first be reviewed by block committees, which will prepare scrutiny reports. These will be forwarded to the District Level or Municipal Corporation Level Scrutiny Committees for final approval. Departments have been directed to ensure timely responses, and beneficiaries will receive real-time updates through the portal.
So far, over 1.09 crore women have registered under the Subhadra Yojana, and nearly 2.83 lakh grievances are currently being addressed through the portal.
The scheme completes its first anniversary on September 17, which will be marked with programmes at 348 CDPO units and Anganwadi centres across the state until October 15.
