Music director Abhijit Majumdar shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar amid health concerns

Bhubaneswar, Sept 4: Renowned Odia music director Abhijit Majumdar, who has composed several chart-topping tracks in the Odia film and album industry, has been shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, following a deterioration in his health condition.
Majumdar, who enjoys immense popularity for his versatile compositions, was earlier admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack on Sunday after complaints related to liver complications and potassium deficiency. However, as his condition worsened, doctors decided to refer him to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for advanced and specialized care.
At AIIMS, a team of senior doctors is closely monitoring his health. Family members are by his side, while fans and well-wishers across Odisha are praying for his speedy recovery.
Before his transfer, several prominent personalities from the Odia film industry, including actors Pradyumna Lenka and Sritam Das, visited him in Cuttack to express solidarity and extend their best wishes.
Majumdar, widely regarded as a pillar of modern Odia music, has left an indelible mark on the industry with his soulful and energetic compositions. His health crisis has sparked concern among admirers, highlighting the affection he commands across the state.
