Bhubaneswar, April 3: A young man was found hanging near a cremation ground under mysterious circumstances in Biribandha village, near Biju Patnaik Airport, on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Jitu Behera, a resident of the Airfield area in Bhubaneswar.

According to local reports, on Wednesday night, three youths were seen heading towards the crematorium area on a motorbike, but only two of them returned. The next morning, Behera’s lifeless body was discovered hanging near the cremation ground, raising suspicion of foul play.

Upon being informed, the Airfield police rushed to the scene and launched a detailed investigation to determine the cause of death. The police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or homicide.
Authorities are currently questioning the two individuals who were last seen with the deceased. The case has sparked tension in the area, with locals demanding a thorough probe to uncover the truth behind Behera’s tragic death.
