Bhubaneswar, March 28: Odisha Police will honour 119 personnel with the prestigious Director General of Police (DGP) Disc Award in recognition of their exceptional performance, dedication, and leadership in maintaining law and order. The awardees have displayed outstanding commitment to public service, significantly contributing to crime prevention and community safety across the state.

The Odisha Police State Headquarters has released the list of awardees for the year 2024-25, who will be felicitated on the occasion of the 90th Police Formation Day, scheduled for April 1, 2025. This prestigious recognition serves as a motivation for officers who have gone beyond their regular duties to uphold justice and ensure public security.

Among the recipients are senior officials, including DIG of Police, Balasore, Satyajit Naik; DIG (Personnel), Jugal Kishore Kumar Banoth; Rayagada SP Swathy S. Kumar; Kalahandi SP Nagraj Deverakonda; Nuapada SP Gundala Reddy Raghavendra; Kandhamal SP Harisha BC; Gajapati SP Jatindra Kumar Panda; and CID, Crime Branch SP Krushna Prasad Pattnaik. Several Additional SPs from Khurda, Koraput, Dhenkanal, and Keonjhar have also been named in the list.
