Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: In a tragic incident, a man and his minor daughter were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their apartment in Cuttack’s Badambadi area on Friday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Manas Ranjan Dash and his 16-year-old daughter.

Manas and his daughter had been residing in Snehalata Apartment for the past two years. However, their lifeless bodies were discovered lying on the bed inside their locked flat, raising concerns about the cause of their deaths.

While the exact reason remains unknown, preliminary reports suggest the possibility of suicide. However, authorities have yet to determine what might have driven them to take such an extreme step, if that is indeed the case.

Upon being informed, police personnel from the Badambadi Police Station reached the scene and launched an investigation. A forensic team also arrived to collect samples and gather crucial evidence from the room to aid in the probe.
