X-ray technician found dead in Capital Hospital, probe underway

Bhubaneswar, Feb 27: A 45-year-old X-ray technician was found dead inside the X-ray room of Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening, triggering shock and concern among hospital staff and visitors.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhat Mohanty, a long-time employee of the hospital. According to sources, his body was discovered hanging from the ceiling around 7 PM by colleagues who immediately alerted the hospital authorities. Despite swift efforts to save him, Mohanty was rushed to the casualty ward, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
While the exact cause behind the technician’s death remains uncertain, police have registered a case of unnatural death and have launched an investigation. Forensic experts have also examined the scene, and preliminary findings suggest no signs of foul play.
