Odisha CM speaks to Nepal Foreign Minister, says strict action will be taken against culprit
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday spoke to the Nepal Foreign Minister regarding the suicide of a Nepalese student at KIIT University and the ensuing controversy.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Majhi assured him that strict action will be taken against the culprit. The state government has informed the Nepal Foreign Minister that it is closely monitoring the incident.
In addition, Chief Minister Shri Majhi also met with two officials of the Nepal Embassy. He apprised them of all the steps taken by the state government in the KIIT incident. The Chief Secretary and the Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister participated in the discussion.
