Hockey India offers free entry for FIH Hockey Pro League matches in Bhubaneswar

Hockey India offers free entry for FIH Hockey Pro League matches in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: In a significant move to enhance accessibility to sports, Hockey India announced on Monday that fans can enjoy free entry to the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar for the upcoming FIH Hockey Pro League 2024-25 matches scheduled from February 15 to 25.

“This initiative reflects Hockey India’s dedication to promoting the sport and fostering an inclusive, fan-friendly atmosphere,” the organization stated.

Fans can claim their free tickets by registering on Ticketgenie’s web portal (https://ticketgenie.in/ticket/FIH-Hockey-Pro-League-2024-25) and app for a seamless entry on match days.

Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey expressed pride in hosting the event in Bhubaneswar, a city renowned for its rich hockey legacy. “By offering free tickets, we aim to create an electrifying stadium atmosphere, bringing together fans from diverse backgrounds to celebrate hockey. This is a unique opportunity for Odisha and India to showcase our passion for the sport on a global platform.”

The Bhubaneswar leg will feature top men’s teams from India, England, Spain, Germany, and Ireland, while the women’s competition will include matches between India, Germany, England, the Netherlands, and Spain, with each team playing twice.
