Deputy CM urges women outside Odisha to apply for Subhadra Yojana
Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has called on eligible women living and working outside the state to promptly apply for the Subhadra Yojana. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, she highlighted the importance of applying ahead of the fourth phase of the scheme’s first instalment.
“I urge all eligible women, particularly those working in migration, to apply as soon as possible. Many have yet to apply, and we want to ensure they receive this financial assistance,” Parida said.
She reassured that the government is committed to including all eligible beneficiaries, with disbursement following promptly upon receiving applications.
Over 20 lakh women are expected to benefit in this phase. The Deputy CM also noted that the portal's opt-in feature has already facilitated many applications.
“The last beneficiary will be included, and support will be provided without delay,” Parida assured, adding that the final list of beneficiaries will be finalized soon.
