IMD predicts gradual rise in night temperatures across Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Dec 18: Odisha continues to experience a cold wave, but the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a gradual rise in night temperatures by 2°-3°C over the next two days. Following this, no major changes in weather conditions are expected.
The IMD predicts light rain at isolated locations in Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, and Puri districts, while the rest of Odisha will remain dry. Additionally, shallow to moderate fog is likely in Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Sundargarh districts.
On Tuesday, Bhadrak and Jagatsinghpur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 30.0°C, while Rourkela reported the lowest minimum temperature at 7.2°C.

Dry weather elsewhere.

Light to moderate rain at isolated places in Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Puri.
