Subhadra Yojana fund disbursement delayed due to verification process

Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: The Odisha government has temporarily halted the fourth phase of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana, initially scheduled for release on December 25. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced the delay on Monday, citing the ongoing verification process of beneficiaries as the primary reason.
“The disbursement, planned for December 25, is on hold because the verification process is still underway,” she said, adding that the government is committed to ensuring the funds reach the rightful beneficiaries.
Field verification is being conducted by Revenue Inspectors (RIs), while Anganwadi workers are visiting villages to validate beneficiary details. People with land disputes or mismatches in bank and Aadhaar information have been temporarily excluded.
Deputy Chief Minister Parida encouraged affected individuals to use the Subhadra Grievance Portal or submit written details of their rejection at the block office for resolution. She assured that the verification team is working diligently to address discrepancies and urged beneficiaries to provide accurate information to facilitate the process.
