Light to moderate rain predicted in Odisha; clear weather from midweek

Bhubaneswar, Dec 9: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar has forecast light to moderate rainfall in various parts of Odisha on Monday. According to its midday bulletin, districts like Kalahandi, Gajapati, Sundargarh, and Rayagada are likely to experience showers within the next 24 hours.
The IMD has also indicated that on Tuesday, light rainfall may extend to districts including Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Sundargarh, Deogarh, and Sambalpur. Despite these predictions, weather conditions are expected to improve as the week progresses. From Wednesday to Sunday, the weather across Odisha is anticipated to remain predominantly dry, offering respite to many regions.
Notably, the IMD has assured that no significant weather warnings have been issued for the coming five days. This update is particularly beneficial for agricultural activities and outdoor plans as people can anticipate stable weather after the brief spell of rain early in the week.
