Dry weather to prevail in Odisha till December 12, says IMD

Bhubaneswar, Dec 6: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a predominantly dry weather spell for Odisha from December 7 to December 10, with some districts likely to witness shallow to moderate fog during this period.
For December 7-8, the IMD predicts dry weather across all districts, while shallow to moderate fog may occur in isolated locations, including Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi.
On December 9, light rainfall is expected in one or two places across districts like Ganjam, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, and Bolangir. The rest of the state is likely to remain dry.
For December 10, light rain may occur in a few districts, including Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khurda, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, and Boudh. Dry weather is expected to persist elsewhere in the state.
The IMD's regional office also indicates that Odisha is likely to continue experiencing dry weather until December 12, with no significant rainfall activity anticipated during this period.
