Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall in several districts of Odisha over the next three days.

According to the IMD, areas in Puri, Khordha, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Koraput, and Malkangiri districts are likely to witness light to moderate showers in the next 24 hours.

On Wednesday, similar weather conditions are expected to continue in Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri districts. The forecast for Thursday includes light rainfall in Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri. On Friday, showers may persist in Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri.

The IMD anticipates mostly dry weather across Odisha on Saturday and Sunday.

No weather warnings have been issued for the next five days, suggesting no significant disruptions are expected. Farmers and residents are advised to stay informed about local weather updates for any changes.
