Deputy CM confirms completion of Subhadra Yojana’s first installment by March 2025

Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: Beneficiaries of the Subhadra Yojana will receive ₹5,000 as the final phase of the first installment on March 7, 2025, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced. She assured the public that all eligible beneficiaries who have registered will have the funds credited to their accounts as scheduled.
"The first installment will conclude on March 7, 2025, and the second installment will be disbursed in phases starting March 8, 2025," Parida stated. She urged beneficiaries not to rush to banks unnecessarily and advised those facing issues with Aadhaar and ration card mismatches to visit their banks to update their information.
Over 1.4 crore beneficiaries have registered under the scheme, with 80.46 lakh already receiving their financial assistance. The remaining beneficiaries are undergoing physical verification.
Parida also confirmed that individuals turning 21 years old by March 2025 will be eligible for the scheme, ensuring broader coverage under this flagship financial assistance initiative.
