Third phase of Subhadra scheme funds to be credited on November 24

Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: The third phase of the first installment under Odisha’s Subhadra scheme will be credited to the bank accounts of over 20 lakh women beneficiaries on November 24.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that the funds would be disbursed during a special event in Sundergarh. She also confirmed that all Anganwadi workers are included in this phase and will receive the financial assistance on the same day.
A review is being conducted for 2.67 lakh applicants, and those meeting eligibility criteria will be granted benefits. A physical verification process will follow for the remaining applicants, who will receive funds in December after clearance, Parida stated.
To streamline the process, the Deputy CM urged 5 lakh applicants to provide a single account linked with one mobile number and Aadhaar. Out of 1.16 crore total applicants, the scheme aims to cover 1 crore beneficiaries by December.
“With the November 24 disbursement, the number of beneficiaries will reach 80 lakh. New beneficiaries fulfilling all criteria will receive two installments simultaneously on March 8,” Parida added.
