Odisha CM’s Singapore visit focuses on job creation and industry growth

Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi expressed confidence that Odisha would become the preferred destination for investors in India, ahead of his visit to Singapore for the ‘Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in-Odisha Conclave 2025’ scheduled for January next year.
Leading a high-level delegation, the CM aims to attract foreign investments and showcase the state’s immense potential. Speaking to the media, he emphasized Singapore's excellence in sectors like chemicals, logistics, financial services, food processing, petrochemicals, green energy, shipbuilding, and semiconductors. Highlighting Odisha’s vision, he said, "We aspire to replicate Singapore’s success by leveraging our abundant natural resources, skilled workforce, and industry-friendly policies."
The delegation will engage with top industry leaders, investors, and policymakers in Singapore to explore collaborative opportunities. The outreach program is expected to attract new industries and create significant employment opportunities in Odisha. This visit underscores the state’s commitment to fostering a progressive and business-friendly environment.
