Two brothers kill youth over feud in Odisha's Sundargarh, one arrested
Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: In a gruesome incident, two brothers brutally killed a young man in Ratanpur village under Sundargarh Sadar police limits in Odisha on Monday morning. The victim, identified as Manoj Sha alias Pandu, was attacked following a feud with the brothers, Vijay and Dulamani Mahanandia.
Reports suggest that Manoj had visited the brothers' house, where a quarrel broke out. The situation escalated when Vijay and Dulamani attacked Manoj. He attempted to flee, but the brothers chased him down and repeatedly struck him with a sharp weapon, a bhujali, killing him on the road.
Locals tried to intervene, but were unable to save Manoj. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him 'brought dead.'
Police arrested Vijay Mahanandia, while his brother Dulamani remains at large. Outraged locals blocked the road, demanding the immediate arrest of the absconding accused.
