IIC and team from Bharatpur police to undergo polygraph test in Gujarat

Bhubaneswar, Sept 28: A Crime Branch team will escort Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) Dinakrushna Mishra and four other officers from Bharatpur police station to Gujarat for a polygraph test related to the alleged torture of an Indian Army officer and his fiancée at the station.
Sources confirm that the suspended IIC, along with Sub-Inspector Baisalini Panda, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Salilamayee Sahoo and Sagarika Rath, and Constable Balaram Hansda, will undergo polygraph testing, brain mapping, and narco-analysis in Gujarat.
The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Bhubaneswar approved these tests at the request of the Crime Branch. The court emphasized that, since the incident took place inside the police station without any eyewitnesses, scientific methods could be crucial in uncovering the truth.
