Odisha CM meets UAE Economy and Tourism Minister in Dubai
Bhubaneswar, Sep 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday held a meeting with UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy and Tourism H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai to discuss ways to strengthen economic and investment ties between Odisha and the United Arab Emirates.
Al Marri, who also serves as the Chairman of the Council of International Investments, UAE, discussed potential areas of cooperation and opportunities for greater investment engagement with Odisha.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Majhi highlighted Odisha’s favourable business environment, growing industrial ecosystem and vast investment potential across key sectors. He invited UAE-based investors and business groups to explore emerging opportunities in the state and participate in Odisha’s development journey.
The Chief Minister emphasised the state’s strengths and its potential to attract investments in sectors that can contribute to economic growth, employment generation and industrial development.
The meeting assumes significance as Odisha seeks to expand its global investment outreach and strengthen economic partnerships with leading international markets. Greater engagement with UAE investors could help facilitate new business collaborations and bring fresh investment into the state.
The discussions are expected to provide further momentum to Odisha’s efforts to position itself as an attractive destination for global investors and strengthen its presence in international investment networks.
