Family of three rescued after suspected poisoning on train in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Sept 18: Three members of a family were rescued in critical condition from Kanas Road railway station after allegedly consuming poison during their train journey.
The family, identified as Raju Mandal, his wife, and their daughter, hails from Jashipur in Mayurbhanj district. They were traveling from Mayurbhanj to Puri when they reportedly ingested poison, causing them to fall severely ill.
Upon reaching Kanas Road station, authorities immediately rescued the family and rushed them to Delang Hospital for emergency treatment. However, as their condition worsened, they were quickly transferred to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for advanced care.
The exact reason behind their apparent poisoning is still unclear, with authorities currently investigating the incident. The case has raised concerns, and further details are expected as the investigation unfolds.
