Odisha Minister assures justice in suspected Khurdha murder, road blockade lifted

Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan intervened in a suspected murder case in Khurdha district after meeting with the family of the victim, who had staged a road blockade demanding justice.
The Minister instructed the local police to conduct a thorough investigation and swiftly apprehend the culprits. Following his intervention, the family and neighbors ended their protest.
The case involves the death of Maga Subudhi, a youth from Hatabaradiha village, who was found under mysterious circumstances. Suspecting foul play, his family blocked the National Highway, causing traffic disruption and tension in the area.
Harichandan, who represents the Chilika Assembly constituency, directed the police to arrest the suspects within 24 hours. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "I have directed local police to take immediate action and arrest the accused within 24 hours in Maga Subudhi's suspicious death case."
