Violent parking dispute leads to double murder in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: In a tragic incident on Wednesday night, two youths were killed in a violent clash over a parking dispute in the Capital city.
The incident took place at an apartment complex in the Ayarpada area under the Airfield police jurisdiction. The clash erupted between residents of the complex, identified as Rashmiranjan Sethi alias Jitu and Julu Sethi, and a group from a neighboring complex. The attackers, armed with sharp weapons, assaulted the victims.
According to the police, the dispute began over parking arrangements. Rashmiranjan and Ganesh Mallik, the maintenance person at Kalyani Plaza, had a simmering disagreement over Rashmiranjan’s car being parked in front of the plaza.
