Odisha CM encourages selfless service at police passing out parade

Bhubaneswar, July 13: Service in uniform demands significant personal sacrifices. Good conduct, combined with duty, enhances the police's image, and officers must always reflect their role as dedicated public servants.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi imparted this advice to police officers during the passing out parade of armed police sub-inspectors at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy today.
A total of 113 armed police sub-inspectors have completed their training and will soon join duty.
In his address, Majhi urged all officers to serve the country, society, and the public selflessly and with integrity. He paid tribute to the martyred police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and congratulated the 113 sub-inspectors on completing their basic training.
Majhi noted that the officers have gained essential professional knowledge, skills, and abilities through their training, which will be invaluable in their daily duties. He promised to take care of the welfare of the employees, considering them as family members.
"From today, you should prepare yourselves for tougher challenges. The Special Operation Group of Odisha is the best and most advanced security force in the country to combat Maoists. The skills of these officers will further elevate the Odisha Police's pride in anti-Maoist operations," the CM said.
