FIR lodged against singers Humane Sagar and Ruku Suna

Bhubaneswar, July 8: Singers Humane Sagar and Ruku Suna are under scrutiny for allegedly distorting a bhajan dedicated to Lord Jagannath, originally sung by a renowned artist. An FIR has been lodged against these popular Odisha singers to seek appropriate action.
According to the complaint, Humane Sagar and Ruku Suna were recently seen in a video where they distorted the lyrics of a revered Lord Jagannath bhajan. The original bhajan was performed by a legendary singer.
In the video, the two singers allegedly replaced the original lyrics with vulgar ones while maintaining the tune of the sacred song. They were seen laughing and enjoying themselves as they sang the altered version, accompanied by a musical instrument.
Reports indicate that an FIR was lodged at the Capital Police Station in Bhubaneswar on Monday. The International Human Rights Commission filed the complaint, demanding stern action against both singers.
It is notable that this incident occurred during Rath Yatra, the world-famous festival dedicated to Lord Jagannath.
