Youth shot by unknown assailant in Ganjam
Bhubaneswar, June 22: A youth was shot by a stranger in Ganjam district of Odisha on Saturday, according to reports. The incident occurred near a pond in Nuapalli village under Bhanjnagar police station limits.
The injured youth, identified as Nilu Bisoyi, was initially taken to Bhanjnagar and later transferred to Berhampur Medical Center in critical condition. The identity of the shooter and the motive behind the attack remain unknown.
Nilu was reportedly staying at a relative's house in Kushpalli village when he went to the nearby pond and was shot in the stomach. The details of the incident, including the shooter's identity and motive, are expected to be clarified following the police investigation.
