BJP leaders invite Naveen Patnaik to Odisha CM oath ceremony

Bhubaneswar, June 11: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik has been invited to the swearing-in ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister, according to reports.
State BJP President Manmohan Samal, along with Suresh Pujari, Basanta Panda, and Nityananda Ganda, personally visited Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas to extend the invitation. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday.
The new BJP Chief Minister will take the oath for the first time in Odisha, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers of various states, and Union Ministers expected to attend. After the invitation was extended, Manmohan Samal announced that Naveen Patnaik has agreed to attend the ceremony at 4:15 PM.
In light of the swearing-in ceremony and the Prime Minister's visit, the Commissionerate Police has announced a 5-hour traffic restriction. Vehicular traffic will be banned from Jaydev Vihar to Nalco Square from 2 PM to 7 PM, with all connecting roads also sealed. The Police Commissioner confirmed that no traffic will be allowed on these routes during this period.
