The rise in covid-19 cases in the capital City New Delhi is seen as alarm bell for Country. Keeping in view the rise in COVID-19 cases in New Delhi , Odisha Government has directed concerned officials to keep a strict vigil on people coming to the state from the national capital and foreign countries.

Earlier State Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das while speaking to media persons said that “a letter has been issued to Additional Health Director and other officials concerned suggesting them to keep a close watch on people arriving in the state from Delhi and abroad. They have also been asked to take up other special measures at railway stations and airports to curb spread of the virus amidst the fourth wave scare”.

A surge in Covid-19 XE variant is the measure concern in New Delhi as Covid-19 positive cases has been rising . The rising covid-19 cases is a matter of concern hinting at a possible fourth wave .
