New Delhi, May 29: The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveils comprehensive broadcast plans for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, promising an unparalleled viewing experience for cricket enthusiasts worldwide.
Set to be the largest ICC World Cup to date, with 20 teams competing across nine host venues, the tournament commences on June 1, as the USA confronts Canada in Dallas, culminating in the final showdown in Barbados on June 29.
Through strategic partnerships with leading broadcasters globally, the ICC aims to provide extensive coverage of all 55 matches, transforming this cricket carnival into a global spectacle.
In India, fans can catch the action on Star Sports Network and Disney + Hotstar, with multilingual broadcasts including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. A groundbreaking addition is the Indian Sign Language Feed, enhancing accessibility for diverse audiences.
Moreover, Star Network introduces the vertical feed, first introduced during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, enhancing mobile viewing experiences with AI-powered innovations.
WillowTV becomes the hub for US and Canadian viewers, while the Caribbean audience can tune in via ESPN Caribbean and the ESPN Play Caribbean app. In the UK, Sky Sports Cricket and digital platforms provide live coverage.
Australia embraces Amazon Prime Video as the new ICC Cricket broadcaster, while New Zealand relies on Sky Sport NZ. South Africa, Uganda, and Namibia have SuperSport as their go-to broadcaster.
