Arabinda Padhee assumes role as interim chief of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration

Bhubaneswar, May 24: Senior IAS officer Arabinda Kumar Padhee has been appointed as the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri, effective Friday.
Padhee has taken on this additional role as the current Chief Administrator, Veer Vikram Yadav, is on vacation.
"The present Chief Administrator of SJTA, Vir Vikram Yadav, is on vacation. Due to this, Arabinda Padhee has been given this charge," stated a notification issued by the Odisha government.
After assuming his new responsibilities at the SJTA office, Padhee paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath and his siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra.
Padhee also engaged in discussions with SJTA officers regarding the smooth conduct of upcoming rituals, including Naba Joubana Darshan, Netra Utsav, and Rath Yatra. Additionally, he visited Ratha Khala to oversee the chariot construction work before departing.
